Tokyo 2020 using GRI Standards

As their preparations for hosting the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games continue, it’s great to see the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee make use of the GRI Standards to produce a progress report for their sustainability plan.
This demonstrates how the GRI Standards provide a valuable framework for major event organizers to report on their ESG impacts, as well as businesses.
Tokyo 2020’s sustainability report uses the GRI Standards Core Option, which gives guidance on reporting general disclosures including economic performance, management approach, energy, emissions, water, waste and biodiversity.
