How can organizations ensure stakeholders can easily and quickly navigate their way around the sustainability report while demonstrating a commitment to transparency?
GRI has launched the Content Index Tutorial, a new online course to help organizations provide a complete and accurate index that aligns with GRI requirements. The tutorial is designed to support both those who are new to reporting as well as any organization seeking to improve the accessibility of their report.
As Shivani Rajpal, GRI Director of Training and Services, explains:
“A comprehensive content index is the roadmap of an effective sustainability report, allowing stakeholders to easily find the information they need and sets the tone for the entire report.
The new Content Index Tutorial, which is guided by GRI experts, helps reporting companies to create a well-executed content index. A good content index can increase the value of the disclosed data as well as enhance transparency in the report.”

Wider support and upcoming plans
GRI report services include Standards alignment checks covering content index, SDG mapping, materiality disclosures, and management approach. A kick-off service and tailored workshops are also available.
As of 30 June, the GRI Standards Exam will be discontinued. In its place we will be launching a new professional certification program, with expanded professional development opportunities – the GRI Academy. Watch out for more information in early July.
