- Supervisory Board: the decision-making body responsible for overseeing GRI’s long-term priorities and strategy. Qualified candidates to fill two vacancies are being sought.

Globally diverse, cross-sector and multistakeholder representation is crucial to GRI’s position as provider of the world’s most widely used standards for organizations to report on their impacts. It is also a key enabler of our continued global legitimacy and relevance. I therefore encourage candidates to put themselves forward to join GRI’s governance, and help shape the future of sustainability reporting.”
Helena Broadbridge, Chair of the Nomination Committee of the GRI Supervisory BoardApplicants are encouraged to apply from all global regions, with representation that covers five defined stakeholder groups: business enterprises, investors, labor organizations, civil society, and mediating institutions.
Under GRI’s two-tier board structure, the Supervisory Board ensures oversight and guidance for the Management Board, the organization’s operational leadership team. The core function of the Stakeholder Council is to provide a sounding board to the Management Board, Supervisory Board and GSSB.
Appointments to GRI governance bodies are on a voluntary basis, and members serve a term of three years, which may be renewed.
